are you aware the shape i'm in? my hands they shake, my head it spins.

hmmmm.
i'm having difficulty expressing what i want to say, pretty much entirely from lack of sleep, which i don't recommend.
well...not that i'd go back and do this week a different way. but.
okay. firstly, i am eternally grateful Tucker B. Johnson is my friend. because i adore him, completely, overall, AND last night, he changed my life a little...but seriously.
i must first explain.
my dear friends came up with this idea that we should start having "listening parties" in which we sit/lay down and listen to an entire album, from beginning to end, with no talking. just appreciating the music that these artist took time to write, the lyrics they made, and the overall idea/theme of the album.
Tucker was the first to host, and did the whole thing so beautifully...i was reminded why music is so important to me...for so many reasons. and his album: the avett brothers, i and love and you.
i totally cried the second half of the album. an activity i think pretty much everyone that reads this knows i participate in probably too often.
but.
it was a beautiful experience.

also, it was SO perfect cause i TOTALLY (totes) had a discussion with a certain someone about how important it is to tell people we love them the day before.
WIN.

watch this. please.

awesomeness

and if you can take the time...listen to the album. the whooole thing.
let it change your life a little. :)

in the morning through the window shade

i love my family. and st. george. and how beautiful it is. and kinda byu.
but i think i'm always the most aware of what i love when it's not in front of me.
like some missionaries, and children attending other schools, and things.
and definitely some darling friends that i haven't had to do without for awhile.
i love loving, also.
i love you.

walk on, walk on, with a fashionable frown.

alright. i'm aware i've now quoted that to death. but it really is ridiculous. think how pleasant it is when a stranger smiles at you. it is. so much. (unless they're creepy. but you know that's not what i'm talking about, so shut up.) sooo lately i've been obsessed with making eye contact with a stranger like two feet before we pass each other and smmmmile. it's wonderful.

cause they usually smile back.

also, here are three reasons why it doesn't matter college is hard, i am happy.

to catch them is my real test, to train them is my cause.

yesterday was CRAZY. i had no time for anything, so, of course, i did everything. after almost all events for the day had transpired, ratch suggested to me that i skip the last activity, that is, to not watch the first episode of pokemon with alec tucker and barret. i kinda freaked out and responded that i would've skipped the soccer game, spanish, work, eating, but NOT this.

in that funny little moment, i think i defined myself a little. i don't mind bailing on work or school, which, obviously i should, but i absolutely cannot miss pokemon.

...just kidding. i can't miss lovely time spent with lovely friends. moral of the story: some people might think i need to set my priorities straight...but i think they're fabulous the way they are.

THERE. happy?

well.

i'm sitting next to rachel barney. she's really great. i think we spend way too much time together. but that's okay. on facebook today i said i was addicted to three things, one of them being people i love. that was completely true. today i wondered if i could survive living out in the middle of nowhere with no one to talk to.

i think i'd become very good at having conversations with myself. which is great. i kinda feel like i'm doing that right now.

okay this is nonsense, i'm done.
